淄柴L230系列雙燃料發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)是在L230柴油機(jī)的基礎(chǔ)上，根據(jù)氣體燃料的要求設(shè)計(jì)的新型油氣雙電控LNG柴油雙燃料發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)，采用油氣雙電控關(guān)鍵技術(shù)，采用改變了傳統(tǒng)雙燃料機(jī)以純柴油模式為主，摻燒雙燃料為輔的工作模式，可分別在純柴油模式或雙燃料模式獨(dú)立工作。采用電控供油方式，以電子控制單元（ECU）同時(shí)控制調(diào)節(jié)柴油噴射和天然氣噴射，實(shí)現(xiàn)了純柴油模式全負(fù)荷點(diǎn)的map標(biāo)定，優(yōu)化了不同負(fù)荷下的柴油燃燒，實(shí)現(xiàn)了雙燃料模式燃油和燃?xì)夤┙o時(shí)刻及供給量可調(diào)，優(yōu)化了發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)全工況的燃燒。油氣雙控雙燃料發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)綜合替代率提高至80%以上，替代率可達(dá)到90%。船舶常用工況多為低速大扭矩，雙燃料模式下能夠滿足低負(fù)荷加氣需求，低負(fù)荷工況下10%負(fù)荷點(diǎn)可以進(jìn)入雙燃料模式，替代率40%以上；排放指標(biāo)滿足GB15097-2016《船舶發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)排氣污染物排放限制及測(cè)量方法（第一、二階段）》標(biāo)準(zhǔn)規(guī)范的第二階段要求。
